Magdalena Osuch , Director at the Tourism Board of the Malopolska region in Poland, stated that their participation in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025, held from April 28 to May 1 within the Polish national pavilion, has yielded positive results.
She expressed her delight that Poland has become one of the most attractive European destinations for Gulf tourists.
She noted that Krakow and Zakopane, located in southern Poland, have become the top destinations for most Gulf families, and she expects hotel and resort occupancy rates in these two cities to reach 100% during this summer season.
Magdalena also announced that Saudi airline flynas has decided to launch daily direct flights from Riyadh to Krakow starting in June 2025. She pointed out that thanks to direct flights from the UAE and Saudi Arabia to Krakow and other Polish cities, traveling has become easy and convenient—especially for families seeking relaxing holidays.
Magdalena stated: “The Arabian Travel Market is an extremely important platform for us in Malopolska. It opens new doors for us to showcase the beauty and rich tourism experiences of our region to audiences in the Middle East. We see this market as a promising opportunity to attract more visitors from the Gulf countries who are seeking nature, culture, and authentic European hospitality.”
She took part in a number of media interviews and bilateral meetings, in addition to presenting tourism experiences from Malopolska, aiming to highlight the region’s strengths as an ideal destination for Middle Eastern tourists—especially during the summer and winter seasons.
The Polish pavilion this year features a selection of the country’s top tourist destinations, as well as representatives from hotels, resorts, and sectors related to health and cultural tourism. A series of professional meetings and workshops are organized to promote tourism services and explore cooperation opportunities with travel agencies and industry professionals from various countries.
